Instructions - how to use chess bot
Setup
Chess bot requires a short setup. Please follow these steps:
1. Download archive with the program (trial version from website or full version, which you will get after purchase).
2.
Unzip the entire folder to any location on your hard drive and launch ChessBot.exe from the folder. It's strongly recommended to launch the program using "
Run as administrator".
3. Add ChessBot.exe to
whitelist of your antivirus and firewall.
4. Now bot is ready to work.
System requirements
Computer:
PC Windows 7, 8, 10, 11. Mobile is not supported.
Recommended browser:

Browser's zoom (scaling):

default (100%)Please note that bot won't work with other settings! So if you have issues with using this program, please double check that your configuration meet requirements.

Supported websites
ChessBotX support most popular chess websites. However, the program can recognize only specific boards and pieces. So please check required settings for a website, where you want to play, by choosing it from the list below. Alternatively, you can check this page.
For most websites it is strongly recommended to turn off board coordinates and turn off animations.
How to play
1. Launch the program.
2. Choose the website where you going to play from the dropdown list.
3. Go to the website, make sure that the chess board is fully visible.
4. Press Alt+W to start the game as white or Alt+B to start the game as black.
5. Once the game is over, press Alt+X. It is strongly recommended to press Alt+X after every game to unload chess engine from the memory.
Important: games can be only played from the start position. However for lichess.org, chess.com, chess24.com, buho21.com, flyordie.com, playok.com, 1chess.org, playchess app, schacharena.de, FIDE online arena you can play the game from random positions.
